I rarely, if ever, delve into self-promotion but every moment is an opportunity for change and all that. Recently, Common Ground Publishers informed me that my book, The History of Physical Culture, has been nominated for an internal publisher’s prize. I’ve already detailed the book, and its contents, in a previous post.
As a quick reminder, this book is the first to provide a survey-level history of physical culture across centuries and across countries. The goal of the book is to be of value to those encountering this history for the first time, as well as a reference guide for ‘Iron Game’ historians.
If you have enjoyed this website, or indeed the book, please do vote. The deadline is April 28th and the link is found here.
As always… Happy Lifting!
